Curio Dance’s Performing Division
Curio Dance’s Performing Division is designed for motivated dancers ages 7 and up who are passionate about movement, musicality, and performance. Dancers train in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Modern, building a strong foundation in technique and expressive artistry.
Our thoughtfully developed preprofessional program supports each dancer’s unique potential. We focus on training the whole artist by developing strength, versatility, and confidence across multiple styles and disciplines.
Performing Division dancers are given meaningful performance opportunities throughout the year, with choreography that challenges and inspires. At Curio, we believe that with the right tools, a supportive environment, and high expectations, dancers thrive and their individuality shines through every step.

Performing Division 2026-2027
Performing Division dancers are placed into a level by Artistic Directors. We strive to place each student where they will be challenged, supported, and successful. Dancers are also encouraged to apply for companies, designed for smaller groups focused on specific styles.

PERFORMING DIVISION DANCERS
Companies
Performing Division dancers are also invited to develop even deeper dance skills by applying to join one of the following companies. We design these courses for smaller groups, specialized in a specific style. Performing Division dancers who want to focus on a specific style and increase their weekly dancing hours are encouraged to apply for a Company.
