About BOOM Dance Fest

BOOM Dance Fest, which will take place on August 1, 2026 at 6:30p, is a 60-minute dance performance highlighting professional dance troupes that share diverse dance forms and styles with the audience and passers-by in the community.

The idea for BOOM was born when artistic directors and siblings Dario Mejia and Giselle Mejia realized that the only dance performances in this community were local dance studio recitals. BOOM expands visibility of exceptional dancers outside of the Twin Cities.

Curio Dance Company is soliciting sponsors for a riverfront festival in Lowell Park downtown Stillwater this summer.

Through the generosity of sponsors, Curio Dance keeps this festival free to an audience estimated to be between 700 and 1,000 people. There are a variety of opportunities to support this production and to be recognized for your generosity.
